Installation Services

Installation and on-site calibration are included with the purchase of each VIEW Micro-Metrology system. A VIEW Micro-Metrology A2LA certified service technician will assist with system placement, leveling and unpacking and will perform a standard set of system checks before calibration. The customer is responsible for moving the system from the dock to the installation location by appropriate means, and for providing the necessary power and any other required utility connections.

Training

A basic training course for up to three (3) students at the VIEW Micro-Metrology training facility in Simi Valley, California is included with the purchase of each VIEW Micro-Metrology system. For customers who have already completed basic training, an advanced training course may be selected in lieu of the standard training.

Warranty & Support

All VIEW Micro-Metrology systems include a one-year warranty on parts and labor. If service assistance is required, customers should contact VIEW Micro-Metrology’s customer support hotline - 1-800-SOS-VIEW (1-800-767-8439). In many cases, problems can be resolved via telephone support. If repair parts and/or a service technician are needed on-site, these can be dispatched by VIEW Micro-Metrology. Quality Vision Services - the service arm of Quality Vision International - has a staff of service technicians based in 13 states.

Applications & Software Support

During the warranty period, VIEW Micro-Metrology systems are also covered under VIEW Micro-Metrology’s applications and software maintenance support program. Applications and programming assistance is provided by telephone, and available upgrades to the originally purchased software are available at no charge. Required computer or hardware upgrades and installation services must be purchased at prevailing rates). VIEW Micro-Metrology’s staff of applications engineers is dedicated to supporting the installed base of systems, and routinely provides support to systems that are ten or more years old.

Upgrades & Retrofits

VIEW Micro-Metrology’s customer support staff actively develops and markets upgrades and retrofits for older VIEW Micro-Metrology systems, extending their production lifetimes. VIEW Micro-Metrology provides standard and custom retrofit packages and installation service for systems up to 20 years old.
